Wavelength

Pronunciation: /ˈweɪv.lɛŋkθ/ Explain

Wavelength is the distance from the crest to crest of a wave. This word is used mainly in the context of physics. In math contexts, we use the term period instead. Figure 1 shows the measurement of a wavelength.
